Literary Connections in Little Women

There is more than meets the eye in every good book. By understanding things like the authors life, the historical background and the issues of the time, we can get more out of what we are reading. Many times an author will mention another book, poem, work or author; these references can give us insights into the story, characters, and authors message. They can also be a great reference to lead us to other good works.
